Mr. Subhendu Kumar Bal has been a key part of the organization since 2008, bringing over 29 years of experience in the life insurance industry. With expertise across actuarial and non-actuarial areas, he leads with analytical rigor and human insight, making certain that all life insurance plans and policies we offer provide lasting assurance and transparency to the people we serve.

Mr. Bal began his professional career with the Life Insurance Corporation of India and later made key contributions to several private insurance companies. Over the years, he has made key contributions to advancing actuarial practices, refining financial models, and shaping risk systems that make life insurance coverage reliable and intentionally designed.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK (FIA), with a postgraduate degree in Statistics from the University of Kolkata. Beyond corporate duties, he has served as President and Advisory Chair at the Institute of Actuaries of India, guiding and coaching emerging professionals with wisdom and care.

Mr. Bal’s contributions have been acknowledged with awards such as Best Actuary – Life Insurance (2019) and CRO of the Year (2022). Regularly invited to global seminars, he shares expertise on life insurance policies, risk frameworks, and ongoing growth, strengthening knowledge and practices across the international insurance industry.

Outside of work, Mr. Bal is an avid reader and sports enthusiast, embracing persistent learning and balance.
