Before joining SBI Life, he had held key leadership roles at HDFC Life and TATA AIA Life, where he successfully managed national business channels and end-to-end P&L operations.

His career began in banking, with 14 formative years at ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. During this period, he built strong foundations in Branch banking, Wealth management, and Customer value creation—principles that continue to shape his inclusive leadership style. /p>

He is a science graduate from the University of Kolkata and holds a postgraduate degree in Management from NMIMS, University of Mumbai.
